SEND US YOUR MEDIA!
BEFORE YOU SEND
We cannot accept material that contains trademarked logos or any other copyrighted material. Your work must be original and your own. We cannot use your video/photo if you are displaying anything that could be considered "copyrightable." Yes, you may dress as Freddy or your favorite Elm Street character or show us your original artwork or collectibles that relate to your "Fred-Head" fever, but please try to avoid things like "Star Wars" T-shirts, Budweiser bottles or your "Hello Kitty" collection from 1987! This guideline also applies to anything that can be seen in the background of your videos or photos (including any art hanging on the walls that doesn't relate to your devotion to the "Elm Street" series). Otherwise, we'll have to blur it out or toss your submissions into Freddy's furnace. (And yes, we welcome submissions of your original "Elm Street" designs and artwork.)
Don't be discouraged by the lawyers... Boiler rooms and basements are fair game!
PHOTOS
You can send us photos and any media under 10Mb directly to our email address at
submissions@elmstreetlegacy.com.
Anything over
10Mb must be sent on a physical CD or DVD, or via YouSendIt.com or Sendspace.com.
YOUR FILE CANNOT BE OVER 10MB IF SENT DIRECTLY TO OUR EMAIL. IT WILL NOT GO THROUGH. ANYTHING OVER 10MB MUST BE SENT VIA PHYSICAL CD OR DVD OR THROUGH YOUSENDIT.COM OR SENDSPACE.COM
If you send your material to us digitally over the internet, please remember to mail or fax the form to us and be sure to check that the name you submit matches the name on the email we receive from you. If we can't identify the form with the picture, we will not be able to consider using it.
We are shooting our project in HD. When sumbitting a picture, we'd ideally like it to be in the same format. We'd prefer photos to be as close to 1920 x 1080 as possible.
VIDEO
Video submissions may be sent via physical DVD or CD to the address listed in step 1, or you may send your material via YouSendit.com or Sendspace.com. We cannot accept VHS submissions as we have thrown out all our VCRs in a fit of fury. Please remember to include your release form with your shipment if sending a physical DVD or CD.

NEVER SLEEP AGAIN: THE ELM STREET LEGACY is shot in
1920 x 1080 High Definition (HD).
When sumbitting a video, we'd ideally like it to be in the same format. We'd prefer a hi-res Quicktime file on disc or a regular playable DVD.
Generally, High Definition (HD) quality video (1080 or 720) is our preferred format. Videos sent to us at 1080p / 23.98fps would be ideal. However, we can work with Standard Def (SD) submissions if need be. (But seriously, folks: get with it. It's 2010 -- who shoots in SD anymore?)
If you are uploading video via Sendspace or Yousendit, please send in Quicktime/.mov format if possible. If you are snail mailing your submission, delivery on a Data DVD in Quicktime/.mov format is preferable, but HDV Tapes work just as well.
Video DVD or MiniDV Tapes are fine for SD submissions, but VHS, Hi-8, and VHS-C are definitely not recommended.

WILL I GET MY STUFF BACK?
Nope. We don't want to be responsible for the ONLY copy you made of your original work. We have thousands of CDs and DVDs to go through, we can't even begin to think about the nightmare of who's stuff goes where. Besides, we'd rather spend more time on making the documentary.
So please, if you send us a disc, make a copy of your work
before you send it.
